All the assistive technology options provided by NovitaTech, including things like wheelchairs, building modifications, smart home technology and orthotics, can be funded through a variety of options, including the NDIS.
How can I pay for assistive technology?
Assistive technology can be funded through a range of sources including:
- Personal or private funds

- Via the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI)
- Via the Lifetime Support Authority
- Via your private health insurance

What about services to support me in finding assistive technology?
Funding may be needed for a clinician to work with you to make an assessment and recommendation of the best assistive technology options for you. It may also be needed for a clinician to support you to learn to use your new technology once you receive it. Funding will also be needed to purchase the item or items that you need.
