Novitatech’s repairs and maintenance service supports independence

access_time3min read

Novitatech’s high quality, reliable and prompt repairs and maintenance service is supporting South Australians living with disability to go about their daily lives and achieve their independence goals.

The Novitatech repairs and maintenance team, which is backed by a fully-equipped mechanical and electronic workshop, delivers technical support, servicing and repairs for a wide range of Assistive Technology and equipment including manual and powered wheelchairs, hoists, beds, shower chairs and commodes, and walking frames.

The team also operates on-the-road to support clients and their families with repairs and maintenance in the home, at school, or in the workplace.

The team includes experienced and skilled technicians, backed up and supported by rehabilitation engineers, therapists, and allied health assistants who work with clients and families to provide the best outcomes.

Novitatech on-road repairs and maintenance technician Mark Dimech says people living with disability need reliable and prompt servicing for their equipment and devices.

“Our team will do anything we can to support people living with disability to go about their daily lives and be able to access the community as much as possible,” says Mark.

Mark has a wealth of repair and maintenance experience and knowledge. He operated his own business for 14 years, and then spent time working for the State Government’s Domiciliary Equipment Service before joining Novitatech last year.

“We’re dealing with growing numbers of clients who have received our services and have appreciated the quality of our work, and so word of mouth about Novitatech’s repairs and maintenance service is spreading.”

“The Novita therapy hubs are also identifying work for us, so the repairs and maintenance service is growing strongly. We started from scratch, and now we’re looking at introducing new on-road vans to expand our service even further.

“We understand the needs of our clients, so there’s a sense of confidence when they contact us to have a piece of equipment serviced or repaired – they know they’re talking to people who will help them and deliver the best outcomes for them.

“It might be a scooter, or a manual wheelchair, or a hoist, or a bed that needs servicing – anything our clients need to support their independence and daily lives, we can do it.”
